Enterprise networks using the Pruuvn® platform
Overview
Pruuvn® notifications and alerts provide Enterprise Admins with visibility into onboarding activity, compliance changes, document verification outcomes, and network-level events. Notifications are generated automatically and can be configured to ensure the right information is delivered to the right stakeholders at the right time.
This article explains what notifications exist, how they are triggered, and how Admins should use them to manage network health, as demonstrated in the Notifications & Alerts Overview video.
What This Covers
This article explains:
- The categories of notifications available to Enterprise Admins
- What events trigger notifications and alerts
- How notifications are delivered and scheduled
- How Admins should use notifications for oversight and action
How It Works
Notifications are triggered when specific system events occur within the platform. These events are tied to onboarding workflows, compliance verification, insurance monitoring, and background screening activity.
Depending on the notification type, alerts may be:
- Immediate (triggered as soon as an event occurs)
- Scheduled (delivered daily, weekly, or monthly as summary reports)
Enterprise Admins can configure which notifications are enabled and where they are delivered.
Admin Notification Categories
Based on the video walkthrough, notifications fall into the following categories:
Network Summary Notifications
Provide a high-level view of network activity and compliance status across providers.
Common use cases:
- Ongoing operational oversight
- Executive reporting
- Trend monitoring
These notifications are typically delivered on a scheduled basis.
Insurance & COI Notifications
Triggered by changes to insurance status, including:
- Certificate becoming active
- Certificate expiration
- Certificate requiring review or action
These alerts help Admins quickly identify insurance-related risk within the network.
Compliance Status Notifications
Triggered when a provider’s compliance status changes, such as:
- Becoming fully compliant
- Falling out of compliance
- Requiring additional review
These notifications allow Admins to take timely action to maintain network standards.
Background Check Notifications
Triggered by background screening events, including:
- Screening completion
- Review-required outcomes
These alerts support risk review and escalation workflows.
Delivery Methods
Admin notifications may be delivered through:
- In-platform alerts
- Email notifications sent to designated recipients
Multiple email addresses may be configured to ensure coverage across teams.
Admin Responsibilities When Receiving Alerts
Enterprise Admins are expected to:
- Review alerts promptly
- Determine whether action is required
- Follow up with providers or internal teams as needed
- Use summary reports to identify recurring issues
Notifications are designed to inform decision-making, not replace it.
Important Notes
- Notification availability and frequency are configurable at the network level
- Some alerts are informational and do not require action
- Alerts may be triggered by third-party responses (e.g., insurance agents or screening providers)
- Changes to notification settings take effect immediately
Best Practices
- Enable summary reports for consistent network visibility
- Use immediate alerts for insurance and compliance risks
- Route notifications to shared inboxes when appropriate
- Review notification settings periodically as networks scale
When to Contact Support
Enterprise Admins should contact Support if:
- Notifications are not being delivered as expected
- Alerts appear inaccurate or delayed
- Notification behavior needs clarification
Providing the notification type and approximate time of occurrence helps speed resolution.
