Step 1: Log In to the Platform
- Action: Open the platform and enter your login credentials.
- Instructions: Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to the Compliance/COI Section
- Action: Click on the "Compliance" or "Insurance" section in the left-hand menu.
- Instructions: This will display a list of your current COIs and options to manage them.
Replacing or Updating an Existing COI
Step 3: Select the COI to Replace or Update
- Action: From the list of current COIs, find the COI you want to update or replace.
- Instructions: Click the "Replace" button next to the COI you want to change. A new window will pop up.
Step 4: Upload the New COI Document
- Action: In the pop-up, click "Choose File" to upload the new COI from your device.
- Instructions: After selecting the document, click "Upload."
Step 5: Specify the Insurance Policy Type
- Action: After uploading, select the policy type (e.g., Auto Liability, General Liability) the COI represents.
- Instructions: Use the dropdown menu to categorize the new COI under the correct insurance policy.
Step 6: Confirm and Submit
- Action: Review the information to make sure it's accurate.
- Instructions: Click "Submit" to finalize replacing or updating the COI. You can track the status in the "COI Status" section.
Adding a New COI
Step 3: Add a New COI
- Action: To add a new COI, click the “Add New COI” button located in the same “Compliance” or “Insurance” section.
- Instructions: A window will appear, allowing you to upload a new COI document.
Step 4: Upload the New COI
- Action: Click “Choose File” and browse your device to select the new COI document.
- Instructions: After selecting the file, click "Upload."
Step 5: Assign the New COI to a Policy
- Action: After uploading, you will be prompted to assign the new COI to an insurance policy type (e.g., General Liability, Auto Liability).
- Instructions: Use the dropdown menu to select the correct policy type for the new COI.
Step 6: Confirm and Submit
- Action: Review the uploaded document and policy assignment to ensure all details are accurate.
- Instructions: Click "Submit" to add the new COI to your profile. The platform will verify the document, and you can monitor its status under “COI Status.”
Step 7: Monitor the Status of Your COI
- Action: After submitting, check the "COI Status" section to see if the COI is “Pending Verification” or “Approved.”
- Instructions: The verification process ensures that your COI meets all necessary requirements.
Additional Tips:
- Replace Expired COIs: If a COI is nearing expiration, you will receive a notification prompting you to upload a new one.
- Multiple Policies: You can add multiple COIs to cover different types of insurance policies by repeating the steps for each document.
- File Format: Make sure your COI is in PDF or JPG format for smooth uploading.
