Overview
Pruuvn® notifications and alerts keep service providers informed about onboarding progress, document verification results, insurance status changes, and compliance-related updates. These notifications are generated automatically and are designed to help providers take timely action when required.
This article explains what notifications you may receive, what triggers them, and how to respond, based on the service provider experience shown in the Notifications & Alerts Overview video.
What This Covers
This article explains:
- The types of notifications service providers may receive
- What events trigger provider notifications
- How notifications are delivered
- What actions may be required after receiving an alert
How It Works
Notifications are triggered when key events occur in your account, such as:
- Completing or missing onboarding steps
- Submitting documents for verification
- Insurance being reviewed, approved, or expiring
- Background checks completing or requiring review
When an event occurs, Pruuvn® generates a notification tied to your account to help you understand what has changed and what to do next.
Common Service Provider Notification Types
Based on the provider experience shown in the video, notifications generally fall into the following categories:
Onboarding Notifications
Triggered when:
- An onboarding step is completed
- Additional information or documents are required
- Onboarding is blocked or incomplete
These notifications help you understand where you are in the onboarding process.
Insurance & COI Notifications
Triggered by changes to your Certificate of Insurance, including:
- Insurance submitted or under review
- Insurance becoming valid
- Insurance expiration or rejection
These alerts often require action, such as updating or resubmitting documents.
Compliance & Eligibility Notifications
Triggered when:
- Your compliance status changes
- You meet network requirements
- You fall out of compliance
These notifications may affect your ability to work within a network.
Background Check Notifications
Triggered by background screening events, including:
- Background check completion
- Results requiring network review
You may be contacted if additional steps are required.
Delivery Methods
Service provider notifications may be delivered through:
- In-platform alerts when logged into Pruuvn®
- Email notifications sent to the email address associated with your account
Delivery timing depends on the event and network configuration.
What to Do When You Receive a Notification
When you receive a notification:
- Review the message carefully
- Check your account for required actions
- Upload or correct documents if requested
- Follow up promptly to avoid delays
Most notifications include enough context to guide next steps.
Important Notes
- Not all notifications require action
- Some alerts are informational only
- Notification timing may depend on third-party responses (e.g., insurance agents or screening providers)
- Notifications may stop once the issue is resolved
Best Practices
- Monitor your email and in-platform alerts regularly
- Keep your contact information up to date
- Work closely with your insurance agent when insurance updates are required
- Address requested actions as soon as possible
When to Contact Support
Contact Support if:
- You receive repeated notifications after completing the requested action
