Understanding Pruuvn® Verification vs Network Approval
Audience:
All Users (Service Providers & Enterprise Users)
Applies To:
All networks using the Pruuvn® platform
Overview
Pruuvn® acts as the verification and compliance platform for onboarding and monitoring. While Pruuvn® verifies documents, credentials, and compliance requirements, final network approval is controlled by the network itself and may include additional steps outside of Pruuvn®.
This distinction explains why verification may complete in Pruuvn® before final approval is granted.
What Pruuvn® Is Responsible For
Pruuvn® is responsible for:
- Verifying submitted documents (e.g., insurance, W9, registrations)
- Validating information with third parties (e.g., insurance agents, IRS, screening providers)
- Monitoring compliance status over time
- Updating verification and compliance statuses within the platform
Once verification is complete, Pruuvn® reflects the result in your account.
What Networks Are Responsible For
Each network controls its own approval process, which may include:
- Internal operational review
- Capacity or geographic considerations
- Contractual or credential checks
- Additional onboarding steps outside of Pruuvn®
These steps occur after or in parallel with Pruuvn® verification.
Why Approval Can Take Longer Than Verification
Even when all Pruuvn® verification steps are complete:
- The network may still be reviewing your application
- Additional non-compliance criteria may apply
- Approval timing depends on the network’s internal process
This means:
- ✅ You may be fully verified in Pruuvn®
- ⏳ Network approval may still be pending
This is expected behavior.
How This Appears in the Platform
You may see:
- Verification statuses marked as Approved, Valid, or Complete
- Network status still showing Pending or Under Review
These statuses reflect different parts of the onboarding process, not an error.
Important Notes
- Pruuvn® does not control network approval timelines
- Completing verification does not guarantee immediate network approval
- Networks may approve, delay, or decline independently of Pruuvn® verification
If verification is complete and approval is pending, no additional action may be required from you unless the network requests it.
Best Practices
- Ensure all required documents are complete and accurate
- Monitor your status for updates or requests
- Be patient after verification completes while network review finishes
- Avoid creating duplicate accounts while waiting
When to Contact Support
Contact Support if:
- Verification statuses appear incorrect
- Required documents show as missing after submission
- You believe verification did not complete properly
For questions about network approval timing, you may need to contact the network directly.
